The Food Pantry is here and available to assist if you are in need of food. We serve the residents of Cedar Hill (75104 zip code) or those living within the Cedar Hill Independent School District boundaries.
Applications are taken Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 am -3:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am -11:00 am. No appointment is needed.
What you need to bring:
An application is good for six (6) to twelve (12) months. Each member of the family will receive food every two weeks.
Cedar Hill Food Pantry operates in accordance with the US Department of Agriculture and Texas Department of Human Services policy, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, political belief, or national origin.
If there is a need in the household, we will assist you in getting set up for food distribution. The amount of food received depends on the number of members in the household. Items may change depending on availability and donations received.
Through the generosity of area churches and other contributors, each family also receives a complete meal for Thanksgiving & Christmas including:
Through the welcome assistance of TXU Energy Aid and its generous contributors, the Pantry can assist those that have a critical need for help with paying their electric bill. This assistance is also for residents within the 75104 zip code and can only be provided once a year. There may be monetary limits on the amount of assistance the Pantry can provide.
If you need help paying your electric bill, please contact us at 972-293-2822 on Monday or Wednesday between 9am and 4pm. We will need a copy of your TXU bill and photo id.
