ASSISTANCE
GIVING BACK
The Cedar Hill Shares food pantry provides assistance to individuals and families in need who live within the 75104 zip code or within Cedar Hill Independent School District boundaries.
Please fill out the form on the 'Neighbors' page to get signed up for the food pantry. You will receive an email within 5 business days to schedule your appointment. (If you have a food emergency, please also email foodpantry@cedarhillshares.org) (foodpantry@cedarhillshares.org))
Food Distribution Hours:
• Mondays 12 pm - 3 pm
• Wednesday 12 pm -3 pm
• Thursday 10 am -1 pm
• Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm
(By Appointment Only.)
To receive assistance, the following guidelines must be followed:
• You must have a Photo ID for all adults (18+)
• Proof of residence for everyone in the household
• You must complete an application once per year
You can receive food as often as once per week.
We currently participate in the TXU Energy Aid Program.(https://cedarhillshares.org/utility-assistance/) Eligible clients can receive assistance through this program one time per calendar year. Please fill out the form under ‘TXU Energy Aide Application’ (https://cedarhillshares.org/utility-assistance/)on the site. We will contact you within 5 days of your submission.
We currently do not provide rental assistance.
